“Wee Watch Kids Have Talent” August 15th – 18th

A talent is something that a child enjoys doing or seems to come naturally to them.  Our Providers and children have the opportunity to discover each other’s talents every day during play or out exploring nature.    During the week of August 15th to 18th, our Wee Watch children had an opportunity to showcase their talents.  Recognizing and commenting positively on a child’s talent builds their self confidence and gives them a creative outlet.

We had the opportunity to recognize our “strong man Nicholas” who was able to pull a wagon with one hand.  We heard the sweet voices of children eager to sing for us with a microphone they made themselves.  There were rap dancers, block builders and children that roared like lions. Being an attentive audience or a judge were also observed talents!    The children loved sharing their talents and after the “show” were able to share in some refreshments with Providers, parents and fellow Wee Watch friends.
